PESCADO GRUP SRL
PESCADO GRUP SRL is a benchmark company in Romania and in Southeastern Europe in fish processing.
Founded in 2003, the company is one of the market leaders in Romania. Through successive access to European funds, two factories were built:
- Primary fish processing, marinating, and smoking factory (5,500 sqm)
- Spreadables factory including fish salads and roe salads (3,500 sqm)
Across the two factories, at least 250 employees carry out their work, coordinated by a team of specialists who, from the very beginning, have been essential to the continuous improvement of product quality and safety.
As a result, both production volume and product range have steadily increased year after year. At the same time, new technologies and equipment have been implemented, further improving efficiency and quality. PESCADO is a socially responsible company, supporting various organizations, vulnerable social groups, events, and sports teams through sponsorships.
Our main objective—and constant priority as a company—has always been to source raw materials of the highest quality.
Our suppliers are some of the largest companies in Norway, the USA, the Netherlands, Iceland, and China, with whom we have built stable business relationships over the years.
Food safety and quality management are also fundamental to our activity. Chemical and microbiological analyses are performed both for raw materials and for finished products. The management system and the factories are audited regularly, both internally and by external auditors (IFS, MSC, LIDL, PENNY, and Carrefour France).
